The Yurt Company provides truly luxurious accommodation with friendly professional service at some of the UK’s premier events. A ‘Nomadic Village’ awaits you, blending the beautiful and romantic ancient Eastern structures with all the modern luxury and service we have come to expect from the worlds’ top hotels.
“The Yurt Company has its own very special atmosphere”
-(Michael Eavis, organiser of the Glastonbury Festival)
Traditionally event accommodation consists of overcrowded campsites or hotels often miles away from the action and soulless in their uniformity.
The Yurt Village breaks with tradition providing exclusive areas, close to the action of an event, within a unique and memorable setting.
The thrill of camping is not removed, but the hassles of it are; large beds, furniture, electricity, space, privacy and security all ensure a cosy and comfortable stay in the beautiful natural environments only Britain can provide.
Additional communal spaces provide an opportunity to mingle with your neighbours. Whether it’s over breakfast, a drink or by an open fire next to one of our braziers the choice is up to you.
Yurts are the most suitable structure for this use. It’s as simple as that.
Space
Although lovely the sloping roofs of bell tents, geodesic domes and tipis all start from a low level restricting the usable space inside. For example, a 5m bell tent has about 1/3 of the standing room of a 5m yurt. (for more click here)

We have sourced all our yurts from traditional Mongolian craftsmen who specialise in the manufacture of these unique and sustainable dwellings.
Each yurt has 3 outer layers;
Decorative lockable wooden doors open into 20m² of fully usable floor space. No ducking, crawling or internal supports to worry about.
Naturally lit through a circular skylight, complimented by electric mood lighting, or simply lay back and gaze at the stars.
