“OMG – what a pleasure to change standing up! Honestly can’t wait to return next year to these beautiful luxury homes!”

Why is this important?
This is your home for the duration of the event and we want you to be as comfortable as possible, simple tasks such as getting changed should be simple. When assessing alternative accommodation options the practicality of the yurt shone through.
Whilst canvas performs SLIGHTLY better than tent materials, you will be cold at night without insulation. BE AWARE OF THIS FACT.
Table showing the effects of insulation on internal temperatures within our yurts
| Outside Temperature | 5°C | 25°C |
|---|---|---|
| Tent | 6°C | 23°C |
| Canvas only | 7°C | 21°C |
| Canvas & Insulation | 15°C | 18°C |

Cotton or polycotton canvas is a breathable material allowing moisture (from breathing, drying clothes etc) to escape avoiding condensation.
However, breathable does NOT mean INSULATED!!!!!
Insulation is ESSENTIAL to mediate the extremes in temperature of the external environment. Our insulated yurts maintain comfortable conditions within the living space allowing for a cosy night sleep and waking up to cool temperatures no matter how sunny outside.
Whilst all options provide beautiful entrances to beautiful spaces only the yurt could provide;
Yurts also provide the following advantages;
Lighting and views
No Central Supports
Ok so geodesic domes win this one spanning 20m+ unsupported, but all our yurts come without central posts which would obstruct eye lines, collapse a structure if dislodged and basically just get in the way. Living in the round provides a sense of well being and the less this is interrupted the better.
Robust and unflappable
To set the scene, wind and rain have unfortunately turned up at your event. Whilst we cannot control the weather we can separate you from it. The yurts weigh 600kg, have well over 200 timber components, as well as three layers covering the robust frame. The aerodynamics of a yurt mean wind will pass around and over relatively uninterrupted, meaning you won’t have a flapping canvas keeping you up all night. The structure is so efficient in these conditions that guide ropes are not required, avoiding this unsightly and hazardous nuisance. What’s more, the insulation keeping you warm will also reduce the sound of rain falling onto the canvas.
Opportunities
Perhaps you’re thinking if they’re so great why isn’t everyone doing it?
Traditional Mongolian Yurts are remarkably sturdy structures that take time to assemble and dismantle, they require extra storage space while not in use and of course transportation to and from events. It is for these reasons that ‘everyone’ is not doing it or is instead offering an inferior version in the form of pop-up structures.
Why do we do it then?
However it is these very issues that have allowed us to build our business concept of providing a Yurt Love Village at major events across the country; we have built an experienced team with our own logistic capabilities that allows us to offer a premium service that can be tailored to your needs.
Because we want to offer the best experience for our guests, we aim for true luxury not novelty, and like our service nothing is too much trouble.
